The Museum will be hosting a Full
Moon Party on Tuesday, March 30 at 6:00
to celebrate the 2010 Spring Equinox and the
mid-campaign success of our membership campaign.
All members will be invited plus asked to bring
at least two non-members! Great food, music and
beverages and maybe - dancing on the patio!
Price: Members free and are invited to bring
non-member guests who may want to join!
Non-Members - $15.00; Non-member couples $20.00
(which is the price of a membership)

Jerry Rose: The
Bahamas: Plein Aire in “Annie” Jerry
Rose’s beautiful paintings depicting the
landscape and the people as they shrimp, fish
and travel in their small boats. Bahamian
festival planned in coordination with opening in
partnership with the Bahamian Consulate and
featuring the Bahamian dinghy, Annie that Jerry
used when painting in the Bahamas. Exhibition

Member’s Preview Thursday, March 18, 5:30pm
Tools of the
Trade: Early Technology in Wooden Boat Building
Drawn from the Museum’s collection as well as
public and private collections, the museum will
be exhibiting the antique wood working tools
used throughout the early part of the last
century to build some of our local legends. A
prominent place will be given to Curt Whiticar’s
tools from early days at the Whiticar Boatworks.

WorkBoats: Celebrating the Design of
Boats that Feed, Transport and Work on our
Rivers and Oceans Drawn from the
permanent collection of the Museum, the
exhibition will include historical photographs
and boat models hand crafted by area master
craftsmen. The Maritime Gallery
is partially underwritten by
Kadey-Krogen Yachts.
| The
Bill Milligan Research Library is
available daily for maritime history research
with over 2000 volumes and periodicals available
for review. Visits to the Library are always
free when you are a museum member. |
