Christopher Cooke

Born in Watertown, NY, Christopher Cooke grew up boating and sailing on Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River. His career in the boating business began in the mid 90’s after he decided to continue the family tradition of military service. He proudly served a four year tour in the Army as an Infantry Medic with the 10th Mountain Division with two combat tours. After the Army, Chris worked for several dealerships in sales and as a yacht broker while attending college. He was able to earn degrees from both St. Marguerite D’Youville College (Occupational Therapy/Biology) and Trevecca Nazarene University (Management/Business). He loved selling boats and working with clients in the marine industry so much that he relocated to South Florida to work full-time for one of the world’s largest marine dealers. He held the positions of Yacht Broker and Salesperson. Throughout his 17 year career, Chris is proud to have personally managed over $200 million dollars worth of yacht sales with a host of clients spanning the globe. When not working, Chris doesn’t sit idly. He believes in giving back to the community. Chris can be found dedicating his time to: coaching his son’s lacrosse team, being a part of the Young Professionals of Martin County, attending PTA functions in Palm City, and sitting on the Board of Directors at the Maritime & Classic Boat Museum.

Today, Chris works as a full-time Yacht Broker and has assembled a team of brokers, that he personally manages, who work directly with him. He also oversees the Tartan Yacht, C&C Yacht, and Chaos Boat lines for United Yacht Sales.
